ABOUT

Hello! My name is Marissa Fortugno. I am currently a motivated freshman at High Point University in North Carolina. I am studying exercise science on a physician assistant's tract. My desired goal is to be a sports medicine physician assistant in either a hospital setting or for a major sports team. Although this can change, I am confident in my decision of a career path and the insititution that is teaching me all of this information.

For the first 18 years of my life, I could of been found in a small town in central Massachusetts. This place, called West Boylston, holds around 7,000 occupants. My graduating class was only fifty-four students. Because of this, I was a big fish in a little pond. I was apart of student government, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership program. Not everything was business though. I had fun with prom committee, interning at a physical therapy clinic, helping with special olympics, and working at a bakery.

Keeping close relationships with the people who positively impact my relationship is most important to me. These people include friends, family, classmates, professors, coworkers, and bosses. Today's modern world is all about networking. Without the people in my life, I would not be who I am today.
