What can happen in less than a week?

#MakeAmericanGreatAgain actually won. I did not like either candidate in this election so I spent the time of the polls just watching and being neutral. However, it seems like the rest of America had a very strong opinion. This opinion they are entitled to, that's what democracy is all about. The results led to crazy effects, that seemed to happen immediately.
Trump supporters were overjoyed, because honestly no one thought that Trump would win, including Donald himself. Clinton supporters had a fit!! They started to protest immediately. Now they are entitled to peaceful protest, and its encouraged. So go ahead Clinton supporters. However, the power of social media opened up my eyes. The thing that surprised me the most was a video on Twitter of three African American teenagers beating up an older man, probably around the age of sixty. The teens were yelling "F*** you for voting Trump". First of all, a citizen of the United States can vote for anyone they want. Then, no one should be beating anyone up, from either party. Minority groups, primarily those who aren't white male, are nervous that Trump will bring back racism and back tract history for all groups including women and immigrants. Some even go as far as being scared of being deported.
Now I am not defending Trump in any way, but he did not cause this. He isn't president yet. The people of the US are doing this to themselves. Trump cannot bring back racism or degrade women and immigrant rights. He can't do that. He is simply just a representative for our country, he does not make all the decisions, and if he does, there are other people who can shut down his ideas. Calm down people, America is still going to be the same and always be the land of the free.
Seriously, I am not picking a side or hating on a side. If Clinton won, I would most likely blog about Trump supporters violating the First Amendment too.
